    It’s easy! Just create your JCPenney Rewards online profile at jcpenneyrewards.com. To sign up in store, tell any sales associate you would like to join. You will be asked to provide your phone number and email address.

    If you’re a JCPenney Credit Cardmember or a JCPenney MasterCard Cardmember, you’re automatically a member of JCPenney Rewards. To receive your $10 JCPenney Rewards faster and track your points history online, link your JCPenney Credit Card or JCPenney MasterCard to your JCPenney Rewards online profile. How?

  4. Why should I provide my phone number and email address to join?

    We will use the phone number or email address linked to your JCPenney Rewards profile to assign points you earn on your qualifying purchases. Your email address also serves as your username on jcpenneyrewards.com so that you can view your points history and access your $10 JCPenney Rewards online.

    From time to time, we’ll also send you emails that contain your JCPenney Rewards points balance and other information about your JCPenney Rewards profile. Please note that by participating in the JCPenney Rewards program, you also agree to receive promotional offers and updates from JCPenney and its affiliates and licensees. To opt out of these promotional emails, please click the “unsubscribe” link at the bottom of your emails.

  5. How do I make sure I receive emails from JCPenney Rewards?

    At least once each month, you should receive an email from JCPenney Rewards that tells you how many points you have earned that month and whether you have earned any $10 JCPenney Rewards. If you’re not receiving these monthly e-statements, please verify that you entered the correct email address in your profile at jcpenneyrewards.com.

  1. How do I reset my password?

    Go to this page and enter your email address, then click the “Forgot Password?” link. We’ll send you an email with a temporary password and a link, so that you can login and create a new password.

  2. I have two JCPenney Rewards profiles under different email addresses. How do I combine them?

    Call JCPenney Rewards Customer Service at 1-888-JCP-RWDS (1-888-527-7937) to merge your two JCPenney Rewards profiles. Choose one email address, and all points and transaction history will be moved to one profile.

  3. How do I change my information online?

    Sign in to jcpenneyrewards.com and go to My Profile. Enter your new information and click the “save” button.

  4. Is my personal information safe when I enter it on jcpenneyrewards.com?

    We have physical, technical and procedural safeguards in place to secure the personal information we collect from you on jcpenneyrewards.com.

Earning Points

  1. How do I earn points?

    $1 spent on qualifying purchases = 1 point. Members who earn 100 points or more in a month get one $10 jcp reward. With each purchase at JCPenney, simply provide the email address or phone number linked to your JCPenney Rewards profile at checkout to ensure earned points are assigned to your profile. With each purchase at jcp.com, simply provide the email address linked to your JCPenney Rewards profile at checkout to ensure earned points are assigned to your profile. Or, use your JCPenney Credit Card or JCPenney MasterCard at JCPenney or jcp.com*. *Purchases with a JCPenney Credit Card or JCPenney Master Card are subject to credit approval.   2. How many $10 JCPenney Rewards can I earn?

    All members can earn one $10 JCPenney Reward each month. Members who use a JCPenney Credit Card or JCPenney MasterCard to make qualifying purchases can earn up to ten $10 JCPenney Rewards each month. Not a JCPenney Credit Cardmember?   3. When do my points expire?

    At the end of each calendar month, point balances are reset to zero for JCPenney Rewards members.

  4. When will my points show up in my JCPenney Rewards online profile?

    It takes approximately one day to process and post points. You should see the points you’ve earned in your online JCPenney Rewards profile one day following your qualifying purchase.

  5. What method of payment can I use to earn points?

    You automatically earn points by paying with your JCPenney Credit Card or JCPenney MasterCard. You can earn points by paying for qualifying purchases with a credit card, a debit card, cash, a check, a JCPenney gift card or PayPal but will need to provide your JCPenney Rewards Card or the phone number or email address linked to your JCPenney Rewards profile when you make a qualifying purchase in store or online so that the points are assigned to your profile.

  6. What purchases earn points (qualifying purchases)?

    You earn points on merchandise purchases and salon, optical or portrait services in store or at jcp.com. Custom decorating purchases and services earn points only if using JCPenney Credit Card or JCPenney MasterCard.

  7. What purchases do not earn points (non-qualifying purchases)?

    Points are not earned on Sephora.com purchases, JCPenney outlet store purchases, purchases of gift cards and e-gift cards, international purchases, JCPenney online outlet purchases, dollars spent on sales tax, state fees, shipping charges, restocking fees and delivery charges.

  8. How can I check my points balance?

    Sign in to jcpenneyrewards.com—the homepage will include a snapshot of your points balance and how close you are to your $10 jcp reward. Click “My Points History” to view more details.

  9. I didn’t receive points for a recent purchase. How can I get points for it?

    If your qualifying purchase does not appear in your online My Points History section after two days from the purchase date, you can contact JCPenney Rewards Customer Service to confirm your qualifying purchase and request adjustment points. Click here to provide your transaction details and submit your request online—it’s the fastest way we can help you. Or, call 1-888-JCP-RWDS (1-888-527-7937). Please have your receipt available for reference when you call.

  10. What happens to my points if I return my purchase?

    One point for each dollar (US) refunded with your return may be deducted from your JCPenney Rewards profile in the month that you make the return.

  1. How do I receive my $10 JCPenney Rewards?

    • In Store: Go in store and provide your JCPenney Rewards Card or the phone number or email address associated to your profile at checkout to access your available rewards.

    • Online: Sign in at jcpenneyrewards.com and select “My JCP Rewards” from the top navigation to view and print your available rewards.

    • Email: If If you enrolled in store or online or provided your email address on your credit application, you’ll be sent a monthly email with your $10 JCPenney Reward(s) sent to the email address you linked to your JCPenney Rewards profile. You’ll be able to print your $10 JCPenney Reward(s) directly from there.

    • Mobile: Go to My Profile at jcpenneyrewards.com and opt-in your mobile number to receive reminders if you earn $10 JCPenney Reward(s) and to receive promotional offers from JCPenney via text alerts. Message and data rates may apply. Up to 8 msgs/month from 527365 to the mobile number you provide. Signup is not required to purchase goods or services. Text HELP for help and STOP to cancel.   2. When will I receive my $10 JCPenney Rewards?

    After each month ends, this is what you can expect:

    • In Store: You’ll be able to apply your $10 rewards to your transaction in store any time after approximately the 6th day of the next month.

    • Online: You’ll be able to print your $10 JCPenney Rewards any time after approximately the 6th day of the next month. For example, if you earned a reward for qualifying purchases made in June, you can expect to be sent your reward online around the 6th of July.

    • Email: You’ll be sent an email with your $10 JCPenney Rewards on approximately the 8th day of the next month.

    • Mobile: You’ll be sent an alert via text message that your $10 JCPenney Reward(s) is available in store on approximately the 8th day of the next month.

    • Mail: You will receive your $10 JCPenney Rewards on approximately the 25th day of the next month. To receive your rewards much earlier, we recommend creating a JCPenney Rewards online profile and linking your JCPenney Credit Card or JCPenney MasterCard. How?

  1. How long do I have to redeem my $10 JCPenney Reward?

    The expiration date will be printed on the reward. Once a $10 JCPenney Reward has been issued to you, monthly earned rewards expire at the end of the next month. Having a JCPenney Rewards online profile is the quickest way to access your $10 JCPenney Reward. If the expiration dates displayed on this site are different from those on the $10 JCPenney Reward, the expiration dates given on the $10 JCPenney Rewards are the ones that apply.

  2. How do I redeem my $10 JCPenney Reward in store?

    Provide your JCPenney Rewards Card or the phone number or email address linked to your JCPenney Rewards online profile to have a store associate look up your account and apply your rewards to your purchase. You can also bring in your printed reward from jcpenneyrewards.com or your monthly e-statement, or your mailed rewards.

  1. What is the JCPenney Rewards Card and why do I need one?

    The JCPenney Rewards Card is the fastest and easiest way to assign the points you earn on your qualifying purchases to your rewards profile and access your available $10 JCPenney Rewards certificates at checkout. It is separate from the JCPenney Credit Card, which requires an application and is subject to credit approval.

    If you aren’t a fan of Rewards Cards, no problem! Associates can still find your rewards profile at checkout with your phone number or email address.

  2. What’s the difference between a plastic Rewards Card and a digital Rewards Card?

    Plastic Rewards Cards are only available in store. Digital Rewards Cards are accessible from your rewards emails or from jcpenneyrewards.com once a member signs in or signs up.

  3. Can I get both a plastic Rewards Card and a digital Rewards Card?

    Yes! If you already have an account on jcpenneyrewards.com, you can also get a plastic Rewards Card added to your profile in store. If you already have a plastic Rewards Card, you can check your rewards emails or complete your profile on jcpenneyrewards.com to access your digital Rewards Card.

  4. How do I use a digital Rewards Card?

    You can login and print the digital Rewards Card from your computer or bookmark it from your mobile phone, then show it to an associate at checkout. You can also access it from your rewards emails.

  5. How do I get a JCPenney Rewards Card?

    Provide the phone number or email address associated with your rewards profile at checkout, and then ask the associate to add a plastic Rewards Card to your profile. Plastic JCPenney Rewards Cards are only available in store.

JCPenney Gold and Platinum Credit Cardmember Status

  1. How do I qualify for Gold or Platinum status on my JCPenney Credit Card?

    Gold or Platinum status can only be attained by JCPenney Credit Cardmembers. Gold status can be attained by spending $500 or more on merchandise or services with a JCPenney Credit Card over two or more unique shopping days in a calendar year. Platinum status can be attained by spending $1000 or more on merchandise or services with a JCPenney Credit Card over two or more unique shopping days.

  2. Can I live anywhere and qualify for Gold and Platinum status and the benefits that go with it?

    The JCPenney Gold and Platinum Credit Cardmember benefits are available only while you are a resident of the 48 contiguous United States, Puerto Rico and Alaska.
